ABC News is being sued by Beef Products Inc. for one of the reports they did on a product they referred to as “pink slime.” BPI is seeking $400 million for compensatory damages caused by the report. BPI is also suing the reporters who covered the story including Diane Sawyer. ABC is believed to want to move the case because in federal court  the procedures are more standardized.
