Forty years after the landmark Roe v. Wade case that legalized abortion, the new documentary "After Tiller" follows the only four doctors left in the United States who are known to provide abortions in the third trimester. In 2009 their colleague, Dr. George Tiller, was assassinated while attending church in Wichita, Kansas. The four doctors depicted in the film have also braved threats, harassment and the emotional weight of the stories they hear to provide women with a desperately needed medical procedure. We’re joined by the directors of "After Tiller," Lana Wilson and Martha Shane.

I called dr. Hern several years ago, just to thank him for his brave work. He was so happy to hear from me. Others might want to do this some time.

per the article "...the four remaining doctors in the USA who provide women with a desperately needed medical procedure......." Why is the killing of a fetus a desperately needed procedure?
The irony of this debate is almost everyone is against abortion for some reason. The Catholic Church is against it for moral reasons. Feminists are against it in Asian countries when it is used for sex selection (choosing a male child), or if the father is pressing the woman to abort for financial reasons.....It is "just a fetus" if the woman doesn't want it but if she does, then it is an unborn baby. Seems to me the unborn entity is a constant, perhaps even a child at a different stage of development? it is people's opinions that change.
