Since meeting with Syrian's president Bashar al-Assad, Brahimi has said that it is far past the point of reform, and that there could be no winners in the Syrian conflict.  Brahimi tells reporters that, "The point I'm making as serious as strongly as I can is that the situation is very bad and worsening. It's not improving. Syrians on both sides say from time to time we are going to win very soon,"
