Children’s Safety is an Issue in US

President Obama addressed a large crowd last night at the vigil for the victims of the school shooting in Newtown, Conn. While discussing the tragic event, he said the U.S. is not doing enough to keep children safe. “We bear a responsibility for every child...This is our first task, caring for our children. It’s our first job. If we don’t get that right, we don’t get anything right,” He went on to say that these shootings that are happening regulary in many U.S. towns and cities and it is time to “prevent more tragedies.”
