Spain is front and center with the eurozone crises.  The periphery countries in the eurozone need to be more competitive if they want to remain independent.  If they cannot boost their exports , the core countries will have to subsidize them with more aid, for who knows how long.  Currently, Spain is at the epicenter of Europe's problems.
