Recently, a TV ad hammering North Dakota Democrat Heidi Heitkamp, a candidate for the US senate.  They accused her for spending "taxpayer dollars to buy private planes." A complete fabrication, and a lie.  Heitkamp later explained that the planes referenced by the Crossroads were given to her for free by the federal government.
