FDA Cracks Down On Fake Medical Websites

The FDA, working international regulatory and law enforcement agencies from about 100 countries, said it took action to more than 4,100 internet charges. This move was part of the fifth annual International Internet Week of Action. Action taken between September 25th and October 2nd resulted in the shut down of more than 18,000 illegal pharmacies and the seizure of $10.5 million worth of drugs.
