The Fed Takes Action, Is it Enough?

The last monetary easing was QE2, this one makes it QE3. The two components of the new quantitative easing are: $85 billion in purchases of mortgage-backed securities per month till the years end, and $40 billion per month thereafter; interest rates kept low through to 2015, extended out six months than speculated.
