In Tel Aviv, several thousands gathered to demonstrate their discontent at the government austerity measures.  On Saturday, the rallies in Israel were in protest against a recent package of austerity measure the government said were essential to cut the budget deficit and shield the economy.  Many of Israelis are upset that their political system is selling out to external political and economic forces.
