NOAA announced a plan to provide military vets to restore the habitat and monitor fisheries in Northern California.  The program will be run with the California Conservation Corps and the California Fish and Game.  The project will start with veterans collecting data and monitoring the river restoration sites designed to increase spawning of the endanger coho Salmon.
