Moscow has been on its edge as the city braces for the pussy riot trial virdict.  This morning, long before the 3 p.m. reading of the verdict and sentence, Moscow police blocked off access to the courtroom on Rostovskii Lane, along with the banks of the Moscow River, barricading about two blocks amid predictions of possible unrest following the verdict.
