While the people seem to be demaning higher taxes on the wealthy, it doesn’t seem to have yet taken place. While some CEOs, such as GE’S Jeffrey Immelt took modest pay cuts in 2011 many continue to actually get increasing pay. In fact CEO pay increased by 5 percent last year, that is higher than any other pay class.
