Picking Ryan Has Done Little to Win Voters

Fewer than a third of voters, 29 percent, said that Romney selecting Ryan as a running mate has made them more favorable. 27 percent, however, have said that Ryan has actually made Romney less favorable. These results were largely split among party lines. The 46 percent of democrats think it made him less favorable, while 8 thought otherwise. 56 percent of Republicans felt it made him more favorable versus six percent. It is unclear still how Paul Ryan will affect the upcoming election.
