As Mitt Romney took an unbeatable lead in April, Rick Santorum ended his bid for presidency.  After meeting with Romney last week, Santorum said he was impressed with his, “deep understanding” of economic and family issues.  Santorum explained this in his email to his supporters urging them to back Romney in order to deny President Barack Obama a second term.  With this support, Mitt Romney might have some help winning over religious conservatives.
