The issue of gun violence is something that seems to be ignored in politics until a crisis happens, but luckily, at the debate Tuesday, it was brought back into the light. President Obama directly addressed the issue and acknowledged the recent shooting in Colorado and called for a comprehensive strategy to address the issue. President Romney however, seemed to struggle with the question. Romney somehow managed in less than three minutes bungle facts on assault weapons, blame operation Fast and Furious, and somehow, pointed fingers at single moms.
