This would mark one of the most serious incidents between the two countries.  Luckily no one was killed from the Jordanian side.  The Syrians carelessly fired into the Jordan border as people were making their way across to Jordan.  Jordan has opened up its borders hosting over 140,000 Syrian refugees.
