Troops and tanks, and helicopter gunships bombarded the residents of Tremseh Thursday.  This is said to be a breach of the regime’s commitment to Kofi Annan’s six-point peace plan.  The rebel fighters were entrenched in the city of Tremseh as Syrian forces attacked to regain and reclaim its territory.
