The Teacher Strike in Chicago

More than 350,000 kids in the Chicago Public School District got to sleep in Monday morning because their teachers got up early to strike for bettter wages, job security, and evaluations. The teachers union has been in negotiations with the state since 2011, but this is the first actual strike so far. There have been other education strikes so far this year, but this one seemed to spark a fiery debate about education reform.
