Hewlett Packard, AT&T and Lockheed Martin have a history of wage theft, according to the Department of Labor. These firms also receives millions of dollars a year in federal contracts.On Thursday, the House introduced an amendment to a defense spending bill that forbids governments from contracting with companies that steal their employees pay and, thankfully, it passed. But most Republicans voted against it.
