Turkey Arrests US Embassy Bombing Suspects
Three arrested after suicide bomber attacked US embassy in Ankara, as leftist group claims responsibility. Authorities in Turkey have detained three people in Istanbul and Ankara in connection with a suicide bomb attack on the US embassy in Ankara, the state TRT broadcaster reports. Two of the men were arrested in Ankara, and one was taken into custody in Istanbul, state media reported on Saturday. A Turkish leftist group, the Revolutionary People's Liberation Army-Front (DHKP-C), said earlier on Saturday that it was responsible for the attack, which killed the bomber and a Turkish security guard.
