Turkey is closing its border with Syria to commercial traffic, only allowing refugees fleeing the Syrian civil war.  The border is closed in both directions as Syrian civilians seek refuge in Turkey.  Smuggler routes are of concern as commercial trucks from Turkey could be used and targeted for weapons smuggling.
