We need a USA version of socialized healthcare similar to social security & medicare. It is what every other developed country does. There is something horribly wrong when you have the most expensive healthcare, but are ranked 17th. Get the insurance companies out of it. Make it simple and police it well.

Think how much money would be saved if a state funded nation healthcare program, like the rest of the civilized has, was put into practice.

I believe the first step is to realize that we all are dependent on each other; we need each other to become "our brothers keeper." The value that one does not need or care about other people is a selfish unsustainable stance. America has the means to provide the best health care in the world. When the cost is shared by all we all benefit. The notion,"I am not going to give "the other guy" any of my money is a misdirection by greedy individuals that can never have enough.
