U.S. Jobs Created While Unemployment Rises

New figures in the United States show more jobs were created in July than expected, but not nearly enough to break the unemployment rate of .01 per cent. The new unemployment numbers announced on Friday by the labor department sheds another light on the US economy just three months prior to presidential elections. So far, the Fed has held interest rates close to zero for four years and pumped about $2.3tn into the economy.
