The United States Justice department has filled a fraud case against Bank of America. The justice department accuses BoA of causing taxpayers 1 billion dollars in losses by selling toxic mortgages to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. This is the first civil fraud case over mortgage loans since the banks were bailed out in 2008.
