U.S. Takes Iranian Militant Group Off Terror List

Sevretary of State Hilary Clinton has until October 1 to make a decision about removing the Iranian Militant Group, Mujahedeen-e-Khalq, or MEK. Her intent is to have the group formerly assocaited with Saddam Hussein removed from the U.S. terrorism list. As a condition of the group's removal, the U.S. has had their 3,000 members leave Camp Ashraf. The group has a history of shifting alliances in the Middle East.
