Vice Presidential Joe Biden was said to be the winner of Thursday's Vice Presidential debate. I hope Joe is involved with some training sessions with the President for the next debate. Obama should have blown Romney away when the debate was on domestic issues, and now he'll be facing Romney on foreign affairs, a topic where the administration has some vulnerability. And you can be sure that Romney will be hammering away on every perception of weakness or confusion, so Obama has an even more troublesome debate than he might have had in the first.

If he repeats his note-staring disengagement in this debate, he can just about kiss his re-election chances good-bye. He'd better be lively, not frown so much, and look at Romney while he's speaking, preferably with a slight smile on his face. He can be polite, but firm and aggressive and confident, and that's how you can "win" debates.

I frankly wish Michelle could debate for the President, but we know that's not an option. I'm almost afraid to watch...
