Warrantless Wiretapping Bill Reauthorized by Members of Congress

On wednesday, the House members who voted 301-118 to reauthorize the vast spying powers in the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act Amendments Act (or FISA Amendments Act.  Members of Congress seem to misunderstand what they were doing. In 2008, supporters of the legislation insisted that it does not collect the communications of American citizens which was untrue.
