Bob Somerby recently wrote “we’ll guess that the vast majority of middle class voters don’t understand that Medicaid may pay the bills for the future care of their parents and grandparents.” Polls however, seem to prove him wrong. The kaiser health tracking poll recently did a survey on middle class and Medicaid and it turned out that 61 percent of middle class people surveyed said medicaid was important to them, and 67 percent said they support the expansion of it in obamacare.
