“The judge’s ruling cited the city’s “deeply troubling apathy” toward the constitutional rights of New Yorkers.”

A federal judge has granted class action status to a lawsuit opposing the New York City Police Department's controversial stop-and-frisk program, opening the door to legal recourse for hundreds of thousands of people targeted by police. The judge's ruling cited the city's "deeply troubling apathy" toward the constitutional rights of New Yorkers. A recent study by the New York Civil Liberties Union found the NYPD program is racially skewed and largely ineffective, with blacks and Latinos making up 87 percent of people stopped last year. . It more or less excludes me....being white. I personally believe it to be both illegal and immoral.....I note: those issueing such orders are above and judgements that would actually do something to punish them . . . as in the past with the Republican National convention the illegally locking up peaceful demonstrators -" CITIZENS OT THE UNITED STATES WITHOUT ANY JUST CAUSE " HAS COST THE CITY OF NEW YORK MILLIONS OF DOLLARS.....INCARCERATING THEM IN UNSANITARY CONDITIONS AMOUNTING TO TORTURE........
MR. BLOOMBERG IS STANDING UP TO DEFEND TO ORDERS HE ISSUES - WITHOU FACING ANY CONSEQUENCE... a billionaire without conscience.....but loaded with money....to look down on citizens..... hear any apologies ?.?.?.?

Months ago I said that the New York City Police Department, the city of New York and the State of New York should be sued for violating the Constitutional Rights of the Citizens "to assemble" for Profiling, for Physical Assult, and the Falsifying of Arrest Records.
