The midterm elections are the Democrats’ best weapon to use to devastate Trump’s Republicans.
Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill just passed in the House, a massive blow to this nation. This country is under attack by an authoritarian enemy so fierce that it brings back the memories of what happened under the Nazi regime in Germany.
We watch as Trump, the autocrat, launches one attack after another on law firms, universities, the media, the court system, and any individual who dares to criticize him. Judges in the courts try their best to force him to follow the law, but the highly politicized Supreme Court most often dismisses their conclusions and lets him win the cases.
So, right now, Trump and his henchmen, aka the cowardly Republicans, are running roughshod over this country and its people and using their autocratic legislation to send more money into the coffers of the richest Americans and take it forcibly out of the pockets of the Americans with the lowest incomes. It seems like America is being turned upside down, and America the Beautiful has become America the Plug Ugly.
House Speaker Mike Johnson, who professes to be a devout Christian, was gleeful and clapped wildly as this beautiful bill that takes away health care from millions of his fellow Americans was passed. He must know that many Americans who lose their medical insurance will suffer, and many will die. Does he even give a damn? Probably not!

The Democrats better wake up RIGHT NOW and use their deep thinking and all their power to find the ways to turn out massive numbers of voters who hate what Trump is doing to their country. They need to get rid of the same old, worn-out strategies and bring in that new thinking, from a select group of individuals such as Gov. Gavin Newsom of California, Gov. Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania, and Gov. JB Pritzker of Illinois. Team them with younger members of the party like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Jasmine Crockett, David Hogg, and Zohran Mamdani.
This is the kind of brainpower that is needed to devise new ways, not only to reach these voters, but to convince them that the best way to stop Trump’s agenda of devastation is to retake control of Congress. A host of young Americans with new thinking that will appeal to those in this country that Trump hates the most must now come forward to help lead the fight against the domestic enemies.
Those who must step aside because we no longer want their old thinking are Chuck Schumer, the leader of the Senate, Sen. Dick Durbin of Illinois, and other non-thinkers. Put them out of the way; their ideas are not worth anything.
With the Midterms on the way, all the representatives in the House are running again, and many of those Republicans who voted for this little ugly bill should understand that their chances of ending up in the political garbage dump are quite high. On the Senate side, Republicans will likely remain in control. And, as the experts say, Democrats should pick up 15 to 20 seats and take control of the House.
Republicans are so stupid that many of them know they can be thrown out of office, but they are so afraid of Trump’s retribution that they will continue to do what he demands, no matter how much it may hurt them personally. And this cowardly behavior will come back to haunt them.
If these terrible cuts to Medicaid for nearly 12 million lower-income Americans go into effect and devastate those losing their coverage, America will explode with anger. Many people will die without this coverage, and the threats to politicians that caused this terrible situation will skyrocket. These Republicans should understand that people can take only so much before they fight back with all their might.
It’s interesting to see various polls about what Trump is doing or wants to do. The American people and Trump, in numerous polls, do not want what Trump wants. Sounds like the honeymoon is over, but, unfortunately, he will get his way, which is destruction of everything he touches. At least, for now.
Maybe the only way to stop Trump is for a huge consortium of all the powerful media giants to get together to plan new strategies on how to put Trump in his place. Can you just imagine reading the news or watching TV and getting a constant barrage of Trump attacks day in and day out?
This would have Trump going out of his mind with rage and trying to fight back against all these giants. I think this is a fine idea that would work, but would these media giants take on such an ambitious undertaking?
Trump’s Big Beautiful bill and its significant cutbacks in Medicaid funding will harm people in Red States badly. It will hurt these people tremendously because the lowest-income people live in these red states. According to the latest Census data, they are Mississippi, Arkansas, West Virginia, Kentucky, Utah, Alabama, South Carolina, and Oklahoma.
Here is what I think will happen as the Midterms approach very quickly. Trump knows full well that what he has done to create an authoritarian government, together with his anti-American acts and policies, has angered a huge segment of the people to the extent that they go after his Republican stooges with all their might and toss them out of the House.
He will then make up his mind that this must not be allowed to happen. And he will do one of the following schemes to prevent it. He might try to use what’s left of his MAGA supporters to set up devious systems to turn Democratic votes into Republican ones using some kind of A1 computer systems. Or, if he doesn’t think that will work, he may go all the way and announce that all the elections are canceled and be pretty sure HIS Supreme Court will agree.
If he dares to do that, to go that far to take total control and install his dictatorship, he will see a monumental eruption by enraged, infuriated mega-millions of decent, honorable Americans that will vent their anger on him and end his dreams of an authoritarian government in America forever.
