Embargoes: how to bring peace to Israel, Palestine, and the surrounding Middle East.
Enough is enough. Most of the nations of the world have strongly condemned Prime Minister Netanyahu’s continuing slaughter, which is called genocide, of the Palestinian people in Gaza.
Country after country around the world has strongly condemned these murderous attacks on the helpless people. They mightily disagree, they may condemn, but they are doing little to nothing to stop it. And, every day, Gazans, including thousands of little children, are dying.
How did this terrible slaughter of Palestinians by Israelis start? Well, back in the years before 1948, this area of the world was called the Land of Palestine. At least 90% of this country was inhabited by the Palestinian people. Then, in 1948, a UN mandate allowed the Israeli people to enter the land.
And that’s when all the trouble began. In the following years and decades to the present, the Israelis continually waged war against the Palestinians all over the country until they had forced the Palestinians into a small part of that country, now referred to as Gaza. What had once been the Land of Palestine then became the country of Israel.
After many years of being beaten and subjugated, there came a time when a rogue group of fighters called Hamas couldn’t take the constant abuse, and they erupted and launched an attack in Israel, which took place on October 7, 2023.
And from that date to this, Israel has gone to all-out war against the rogue Hamas group that has now been developed by the criminal Prime Minister Netanyahu into mass genocide of the people of Gaza.
As all this slaughter has been going on and bombs have been falling all over Gaza, where were a great many of the bombs coming from? Sadly, President Biden was the first to send powerful weaponry to Netanyahu and then, in subsequent years, Trump did the same. It’s very hard to understand why this government would do this, but it did, time and again.
Historians will record what Biden and Trump did as complicity in these attacks. For anyone who disputes this complicity by US presidents, just look up genocide and complicity definitions, and the answer will be there.
Now, most of these countries that condemned what Netanyahu was doing have done little to nothing to stop it. That’s true, yet a few of them have actually tried to use embargoes against Israel. However, they were not organized very well, were too small, and did not work.
Now, how would they work a whole lot better and eventually lead to Israel begging these other embargoing nations to stop? Here’s how I think these nations could use these embargoes effectively:
Here is a list of Israel’s exports and imports by country. It shows America at the top of exports and second in imports. You can disregard both since the US would never take part in an embargo because it answers to Netanyahu, not world organizations. Because, if it did, it would have to stop sending the weaponry that Israel needs for its genocide.

All these countries in the embargoes would need to meet and discuss how they would organize this entire, very complicated process. There is no question but that it can be done very successfully. And the effect on Israel would be very devastating. Just think how this country would function when almost all of its badly needed imports were suddenly ended, and their exports were rejected and turned back.
Israel’s major functions would begin to grind to a halt, factories would close, its people would largely lose their jobs, and the country would turn into a state of massive chaos. And Israel would have to beg other countries for help. The United States would have to stop sending weaponry to its client state and send food and other essentials needed by that rogue country to stay afloat.
But, in the end, after all the turmoil, good things would begin to happen in Israel. The 73% of its people who have been against this war against the Palestinian people would rejoice. Netanyahu and his cohorts would be forced into a ceasefire, followed by negotiations, the hostages can be returned to their families, and then, at some later point in time, negotiations for a two-state solution would begin.
The result will be that the genocide would be ended, Netanyahu would be forced out of his despicable job, and the entire area that was under siege would see peace between Israel and Palestine return. Israel, when the embargoes have ended, and it begins to return to peace, will have to take the largest part in rebuilding Gaza and some of the West Bank.
Peace will return to the whole area when Israel returns to being a normal, non-aggressive country. The United States will save billions of dollars when it no longer has to send billions of dollars in powerful weaponry to Israel and its disgraced Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu.
The question to ask: is this embargo really feasible, and will it really work? You bet it will work and be highly successful in ending this genocide and returning peace to the whole region. The only thing needed for this success is for all these nations that have condemned this genocide to swear together that they will not fail, that they will follow through with the largest, greatest embargo that the world has ever seen.
