Nick Surgey is CMD's Director of Research and an investigative reporter. His work has been featured in The Guardian, the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, and the Washington Post.
His research has also been cited in Mother Jones magazine, The Nation magazine, on MSNBC, and many other places including the Colbert Report on Comedy Central. Nick was previously Staff Counsel at Common Cause, where he led the research and legal work on their ALEC and Supreme Court Ethics projects.
