We’ve got an interesting next two years ahead of us.

In total, 117 women were elected during the 2018 midterm elections – 96 elected to the House, 12 to the Senate and 9 as governor – shattering records and increasing the number of women in power.

The high levels of partial disclosure suggest that dark money is not disappearing.

It looks like a significant Democratic victory in November – often referred to by commentators as a “blue wave” – is likely. But will they become more committed to challenging the Trump agenda?

While democrats believe they can win Ryan's seat, Bryce will be up against Republican Bryan Steil, an attorney and business executive who was endorsed by Ryan.

So yes, the blue wave continues to rise. But more importantly, we’re taking back our state for progressive values – vote by vote, and seat by seat.

We are three months out. Democrats better hope the insurgency continues to build.
