Hillary Clinton seems a little frazzled.

Earlier this week at a rally in New York, a Greenpeace activist asked Clinton: “Thank you for tackling climate change. Will you act on your words and reject future fossil fuel money in your campaign?”

Pretty polite and straightforward, right?

Clinton responded irritably: “I don’t have money from people who work for fossil fuel companies. I am so sick, I am so sick of the Sanders campaign lying about me. I’m sick of it.”

According to Greenpeace, Clinton and here Super PAC have received more than $4.5 million from the fossil fuel industry. 57 oil, gas and coal industry lobbyists have contributed to Clinton’s campaign. And according to the Center for Responsive Politics, the Clinton campaign has accepted over $160,000 from employees of fossil fuel companies.

What’s more, the Clinton campaign has at least 40 registered lobbyists that have that have worked against climate change regulations, or advocated for similar anti-environment projects such as offshore drilling. We’re not sure what Clinton was getting out when she said she was sick of the Sanders campaign lying, but we think her track record speaks for itself. You can watch the video of Hillary’s response above.
