Bernie Sanders Sweeps Saturday Contests

Alaska, Washington, and Hawaii all went to Bernie Sanders yesterday in the two primaries and Hawaii’s caucus. He won these three states by huge margins and also won Utah this last Tuesday giving him the victory in 5 out of the 6 states this week.

Sanders captured 73 percent of the vote in Washington, 82 percent in Alaska, and 70 percent in Hawaii giving him and his campaign new momentum and hope. “We are making major inroads into Secretary Clinton’s lead, and we have, with your support—coming to Wisconsin—we have a path toward victory” Sanders stated. The next primary is April 5 in Wisconsin.
