A year after hundreds of thousands showed up for the 2017 Women’s March, demonstrators gathered again Saturday, still seeking positive political and social change for women and all citizens in 2018.

Over 120,000 protestors attended the march in New York and thousands more turned up in places like Washington, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, and other major cities around the world.

“We’re all marching towards the same thing,” said Audra Heinrichs, an event organizer.

The primary theme of the 2018 Women’s March was Power to the Polls, urging people to get out and vote in the midterm elections.

The event was a great success and an excellent start to a year of planned actions across the nation.
