The genocidal war by Netanyahu on Gazans, using Biden’s weaponry, continues relentlessly

It’s the epitome of ultra-cruel. These Israelis and Bibi Netanyahu are acting like savages turned loose on helpless people.

Let’s define the word genocide: It’s “the deliberate and systematic killing or intense persecution of a large number of people from a particular national or ethnic group, to destroy that nation or group.”

Israel and its criminal leader, Netanyahu, are currently slaughtering thousands of Gazans, Palestinian people, right in front of the eyes of the entire world. It’s the epitome of ultra-cruel. These Israelis and Bibi Netanyahu are acting like savages turned loose on helpless people.

Yes, the Hamas terrorist organization attacked Israel on Oct. 7, a terrible, inexcusable act, and no one faults Israel for striking back and trying to get back the 200+ hostages that Hamas had captured. What we’re seeing, though, is not just striking back but a massive, non-stop retaliation to wipe out the Gazan people. That’s what Netanyahu says he will do. Who’s the judge in this critical matter? Who determines whether genocide is being committed by a nation or by some demented leader? International Judicial organizations have that authority and responsibility. In this grave matter, here are reports from these two international judicial organizations’ latest conclusions from the Middle East Eye publication.

What did the ICJ, The International Court of Justice say?

On 26 January 2024, the ICJ said that it was plausible that Israel had breached the Genocide Convention. As an emergency measure, it ordered Israel to ensure that its army refrained from genocidal acts against Palestinians.

But, it may take several years before the ICJ makes a full judgment on the case. This is not uncommon. International court deliberations often involve a protracted process of written submissions and oral arguments by all parties to the case. For example, ICJ’s judgment in the case of Bosnia and Herzegovina v Serbia and Montenegro, which involved allegations of genocide, was delivered in February 2007, more than a decade after the case began in March 1993.

Following requests by South Africa, the court subsequently issued interim orders on 28 March and24 May that called on Israel to halt its assault on Rafah and ensure the unimpeded delivery of humanitarian aid to Palestinians. There have been several more countries that have joined these efforts, but not the United States because President Biden is furnishing the weaponry to Netanyahu to use in Gaza.
In its May order, the ICJ court also ordered that Israel ensure that UN investigators could enter Gaza to investigate allegations of genocide.”

And what does the ICC, The International Court say on this matter?  What action has it taken against Israel and Hamas?

Again, from The Middle East Eye:The ICC has jurisdiction to prosecute nationals from the 124 member states who signed the Rome Statute, as well as individuals who commit crimes within those territories.

Israel is not a member of the ICC, but the state of Palestine was granted membership in 2015. Therefore, the court can investigate Israeli individuals for crimes committed in the occupied Palestinian territories, which include Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem.

ICC prosecutor Karim Khan filed an application on 20 May for arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Yoav Gallant for their roles in alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity during Israel’s war on Gaza.

An application was also filed for arrest warrants for Hamas leaders Yahya Sinwar, Ismail Haniyeh, and Mohammed Deif for their roles in alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity during the Oct. 7 Hamas-led attack on southern Israel.”

Well, when the evidence of that terrible act of genocide is so clear, what in the world is the problem with these international agencies from going ahead rapidly indicting/charging Israel and Netanyahu for the high crimes of genocide? What is their problem, their hesitation? They said it may take several years before the ICJ makes a full judgment on the case. What, are these two organizations going to let the entire nation and people of Gaza be destroyed before they act?

Here’s how bad this situation is. This land where all this strife was going on, many, many years ago, was the home of Israel, and then the Israelis left. You can read all about the reasons why they left in the Bible. But they did go, giving up their country. Then, after the Holocaust took place and World War II ended, there was a UN mandate that allowed the Israelis to return to this same land, which was now known as the Land of Palestine.

From 1948, and in the succeeding 76 years, constant attacks by Israel on the Palestinians, all over the country, enabled the Israelis to take control of about 90 percent of all the land. The Palestinians were relegated to about 10 percent of the land in a small section next to Egypt. And now we know why there is no love between the Israelis and the Palestinians.

From then on, the Gazans were in a fight for survival, with Israel keeping them in subjugation. The Palestinians were depending on help from other nations. That’s where the terrorist organization Hamas came out of, years and years of frustration from this intense subjugation that caused its attack on Israel. They shouldn’t have made the attack, but they did. No one could fault Israel’s counterattack, but no one thought it would turn into genocide.

Now, what about Biden? Well, he and Sec. Of State Blinken have been continually pushing for a ceasefire and help for the Gazans but Netanyahu just turns off his hearing and keeps the relentless war going on without a letup. So, what should Biden do? First all he should stop being Netanyahu’s whipping boy and do what is right. He should immediately stop sending those Gazan-killing weapons to Netanyahu on a regular basis.

But, the question is, will he? While he watches this slaughter continue, and as terrible as it is, he just keeps sending them. Is Biden just too old to realize that when these international judicial organizations finally declare Israel guilty of genocide and take appropriate action, he could be judged as being complicit, and that he would go down in history with this genocide hung around his name?
