I have a BSc in Zoology and a PhD which involved examining the link between climate change and the biology of dragonflies. Since then I have developed research projects in diverse areas such as the evolution of aging, the ecology and evolution of mimicry and camouflage, the ecological and evolutionary consequences of urbanisation, freshwater biodiversity and conservation, and the application of technology to university teaching.
