My area of scholarly writing is that of Animal Law. I just published the 3rd edition of my teaching book - Animal Law: Welfare, Interests,& Rights (Aspen Press). I have organized and attended conferences around the world, including China, India, Spain and Brazil dealing with all aspects of Animal Law. I was a co-founder and a twenty two year Board member of the Animal Legal Defense Fund. I teach Animal Law, Property Law and International Environmental Law.The issues of Animal Rights has been on my agenda for over twenty years.
