A company that handles Amazon customer service calls wants cameras in employees’ homes—even on their kids.

The findings, said one expert, “show that the uncertain future is happening now.”

It’s understandable that the super wealthy might wish to escape the gravitational pull of the rest of us. But there’s really no escape.

Amazon has fought off labor organizing at the company for decades, but workers in Baltimore, New Orleans, Portland, Denver and Southern California are now also reportedly considering union drives.

“They are looking to maximize profit during a pandemic.”

Observers at VICE said the ads show the retail tech giant sees “labor organizing as one of the biggest threats to its existence.”

Keeping forests standing is one of the most effective and important ways to keep the world below dangerous levels of warming.

“It just shows how very little regard Amazon has for its overworked employees.”

If Amazon doesn’t do more to protect workers, “they are not only profiting from this pandemic, but they’re helping to perpetuate it.”
