Dunwoody Police Sergeant Robert Parsons had been suspended from the department for five days, placed on probation for two years and required an alcohol assessment.
“He could be terminated certainly, he could be demoted, he could opt for retirement, the investigation is very early right now.”
Jeffrey Kutz was charged with third-degree vehicular assault, driving while intoxicated, and reckless driving. He was also suspended without pay from the department.
“I cannot tell you how angry and disappointed I am that a Los Angeles Police Officer would disregard the law and cause an accident with such awful, awful consequences.”
