Bernie Sanders Ties Hillary Clinton in New National Poll

According to a new Bloomberg Politics poll released today, Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton are in a virtual tie among Democratic voters.

The poll consisted of 311 people that have voted or will vote as a Democrat in a primary or caucus. 49 percent said they support Sanders, 48 percent say they prefer Clinton, and 3 percent said they are still undecided.

The group of Democrats polled were split on whether or not they were concerned about Clinton’s changing views on the TPP, while 54 percent of them said that Clinton’s paid speeches to Wall Street were a concern.

60 percent of those polled said they were concerned with Sanders’ lack of foreign policy experience.

Sanders did better matched up against Republican presidential hopefuls. He led Donald Trump by 24 points and Senator Ted Cruz by 12 points. Hillary Clinton led Trump by 18 points and Cruz by 9 points.
