As some wonder why Bernie Sanders has not dropped out of the race, Sanders stands his ground saying his nomination “is not a lost cause.” Sanders appeared on Stephen Colbert’s “The Late Show” last night to defend the case that he has a shot in the race still.

“Here’s the story,” Bernie told Colbert about why he is not giving up. “It’s a narrow shot, but we still have a chance to win a majority of the pledged delegates. We’re going to fight for every last vote. And at the end of the day, I hope and believe that we are going to win this.”

Today is the West Virginia primary and Sanders is confident he can defeat Clinton here. He remains competitive and hopeful.
