Bernie Sanders isn’t happy about the continuing trend of rising drug prices.
The Vermont Senator, who has previously spoken out about drug prices and big pharma, the cost of healthcare, and why we need a single-payer healthcare system, took to the Senate floor yesterday to discuss again the problem with big pharma and their control over drug prices.
“I would hope that my Republican colleagues listen to the American people and get their priorities right. Poll after poll says no more tax breaks for the rich, let’s invest in healthcare. Let’s invest in cures for the children’s diseases.”
