For every 1000 signatures, NationofChange will send a letter to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans asking them to buy out commercial sealing licenses and end commercial sealing.
Baby seals are dying for no reason. Every spring seal pups anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months old are killed, their bodies left on the ice or in the ocean.
Most commercial sealing in Canada can only exist with government subsidies. Seal products are not in demand, but sealing continues.

The Prime Minister can work with the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans to buy out commercial sealing licenses and end commercial sealing. Put your voices together and tell them that that is what the people want.
