The father of three girls who were victims of convicted child molester Larry Nassar, was tackled by marshals in the courtroom after lunging at Nassar.
Randall Margraves, who’s three daughters were victims of Nassar, a former sports physician for Olympic women’s gymnasts, asked the judge during the hearing to grant him “5 minutes in a locked room with this demon.” Obviously, the judge refused, but that didn’t deter Margraves, who pressed, “How about one minute?”
After being denied a second time, Margraves charged at Nassar, but was tackled by marshals before any damage could be done.
Perhaps most surprising of all is the way the public decided to express their support for Margraves.
As of early Saturday, more than 900 people have donated more than $31,000 to to Margraves, via a GoFundMe page set up by his coworker to help with potential legal fees related to the emotional attack.
Margraves has agreed to not attend any future court proceedings involving Nassar.
