At a time when the nation continues to grapple with George Floyd’s death at the hands of Minneapolis police officers, Trump’s incendiary rhetoric and intentional, racist choice to call COVID-19 the “Chinese virus” have poured gasoline on an already tense situation and put millions of Americans in harm’s way.

Brave New Films has released a new video, “Pandemic of Hate: Anti-Asian Racism During COVID-19,” that exposes racism and anti-Asian hate incidents, which have surged during the pandemic, fueled by President Trump’s xenophobic and racially-tinged rhetoric. The film details horrific hate incidents directed at Asian Americans and includes actors Randall Park, Ken Jeong, Ming-Na Wen, Kelly Hu, Brian Tee, and Alec Mapa who call for a stop to the hate.
