Definition of fascism: “a far-right, authoritarian, anti-democratic, ultranationalist, political ideology. Under fascism, a government ruled by a dictator controls the lives of the people in that society and allows no dissent or disagreement. It emphasizes extreme nationalism, militarism, and the supremacy of the nation over the individual.”
That sounds like what is beginning to happen to America today.
Let’s talk about Trump to see if he fits the description of a dictator in a fascist government.
If Trump were doing more disruption and damage to America, Europe, and the rest of the world, I have no idea what it would be. He’s like a human tornado that destroys everything in its path.
Americans, those who voted for him, or did not, are concerned about what he might do next. They do not like his brotherly love for Putin and how he is making excuses for Russia’s attack on Ukraine, as well as calling Zelensky a traitor and saying that he started the war.
He’s placing his kind of fascist-minded individuals into important parts of this government to change departments’ current democratic agendas to those that Trump dictates. The American people are shocked and in a state of disbelief at what is happening, but they and the helpless Democrats can’t seem to do anything to stop Trump’s evil plan.
A big question for those Maga and other misguided Americans is: Why did you elect a president who sides with Putin and Russia? This close relationship between Trump and Putin has been going on for some time, so don’t say you never heard such a thing. There’s always that lingering question: what has Putin got on Trump? Without a doubt, there’s something there, probably involving females, but Putin holds the ace card, and he’s not saying.
How about what Mary Trump, his niece, says about her uncle? In her blog post, she said she constantly asks herself, “What have we done” in response to various actions, “new indignity[ies]” or “some horror” resulting from Trump administration policies and actions, what she calls a “corrupt fascist regime.”
She also warned: “It’s becoming increasingly clear that the Trump regime is turning away from our allies to embrace our enemies. They are dismantling our institutions and rule of law for the sole purpose of protecting and enriching a small Kabul of extremely rich, extremely corrupt, and extremely anti-American traitors,” she said. She calls it fascist, and she has tons of solid evidence to prove it.
Now let’s talk about the famous Trump tariffs against our dear friends in Canada and Mexico and also against our not-so-friendly China. First, he put 25 percent tariffs on a host of Canadian and Mexican products and 10 percent on China.
But after the three countries came roaring back with their very strong tariffs, and the stock market went down sharply over three days, this master of tariffs backed off “in a pause” and indicated he would bring them back in about a month. We’ll see if the prolific liar makes good on this latest threat.
Now Trump said that he is going to put 250 percent tariffs on Canadian dairy products and lumber. What will the response from Canada be? Trudeau is probably telling his associates something like, “Let’s just wait and the nutjob will probably pull them back in a day or two.”
After Zelensky received a verbal beating by Trump and Vance in the Oval Office, he immediately went to a conference of European nations to plan their next moves. Trump has managed to scare them into action, and they and Zelensky decided to o strengthen their own forces and increase sending weaponry to Ukraine.
These European nations are well aware that Putin has the objective to take over Ukraine and then move on to Poland and other European countries to resurrect the Russian empire. And they and their NATO forces must be ready to wipe him out if he makes such a mistake.
Of course, these countries are well aware that Putin has nuclear weapons. And so, France is considering sharing its nuclear arsenal coverage with allies, and before long, we may hear that the UK will do the same.
These countries are sick and tired of Putin and his threats, and they will beef up their responsiveness and turn the threats back on him. They are well aware that they can no longer depend on the U.S.
Relative to this fascist threat going on in America. Many Americans know that almost the same thing happened in Germany before WWII. One of the first things that happened was the Nazi control over the German news media that was forced to do what the Nazis commanded. We can see the same thing beginning to happen in our country right now.

In Germany, totalitarianism gained popularity in the form of the National Socialist German Workers Party, otherwise known as the Nazis.
The rise of the Nazis in Germany was intrinsically linked to the nation’s postwar economic problems.
The Nazis manipulated German discontent with post-World War I conditions to promote a nationalistic agenda.
Economic conditions dramatically increased popular discontent with the government and prompted many to look for a new leader who would restore Germany to its former glory.
The Nazis passed a resolution that granted Hitler practically unlimited power over the German government.
Hitler further consolidated his power by eliminating opposition groups and propaganda.”
We now hear that: Trump has put DOGE on a leash.” He now says, “DOGE has been an incredible success, and now that we have my Cabinet in place, I have instructed the Secretaries and Leadership to work with DOGE on Cost Cutting measures and Staffing,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “As the Secretaries learn about the people working for the various Departments, they can be very precise as to who will remain, and who will go. We say the ‘scalpel’ rather than the ‘hatchet.”
One of the biggest problems in this fight against fascism involves the news media. Most of us have heard that as a dictator is taking control, one of the first things he does is to try to silence and control all of the news outlets. And so far, Trump’s been more than a little successful in America.
We’ve seen CNN force Jim Acosta out, MSNBC fire Joy Reid and reassign Alex Wagner. Then we saw Jeff Bezos of the Washington Post bow down to Trump and tone down his opinion section, which triggered any number of resignations.
And there have been many other reorganizations and firings in the industry. So, an increasing part of the U.S. news media is following the “script” for a fascist state. When will it stop?
The question continues to be, Is America in the beginning stages of a fascist state? Well, watch Trump, Musk, and their stooges as they rapidly continue to dismantle our democracy, and you’ll have your answer. So, YES, without question. But can we stop this fascistic process, and how?
Absolutely, but only if the American people realize what is going on all around them by Trump and his fellow fascists. Then all the non-Maga, normal Americans, must stand up and fight like hell to save their country and take down Trump and his evil plan. It can be done. It must be done!
