Edward Hasbrouck is an author, journalist, activist, and blogger. He was imprisoned in 1983-1984 for organizing resistance to draft registration, and maintains a Web site about the draft (“Selective Service”), draft registration, and draft resistance at Resisters.info. Edward has received a Lowell Thomas Travel Journalism Award for investigative reporting on travel-related human rights issues, and a Social Courage Award from the Peace and Justice Studies Association “for exemplifying courage and honor in speaking truth to power.”
