As our institutions bend and buckle and approach the breaking point, the president bombs Syria and is hailed by an obeisant media.

The conflict in Syria continues to escalate and could ignite “a massive war between major world powers.” Bombs and destruction must come to a stop and a resolution must be reached for the major nations involved.

"It is the job of the peace movement and all those who seek stability and justice in the world to work toward this outcome."

While some of the “radicalism” in the Middle East is just anti-imperialism, something Washington interventionists are unable to understand, the Obama administration’s approach is to fight Daesh (ISIS or ISIL) in Syria. Yet does the bombing of the civilians helps Daesh propaganda?

So, for the last few of us still here thinking about American wars, I would say that when it comes to off the charts, it’s possible that you ain’t seen nothin’ yet.

What Americans don’t want to hear...

In a destabilizing moment like this, we need time-tested strategies and tactics that can help guide effective action.

It remains to be seen how much of this plan will be realized and how much was just campaign rhetoric.
